Hi, I’m a happy but stressed mom of two teenagers and the wife of a wonderful man. I love cooking, creating, and painting, so I’ve decided to share with the world something that helps me reduce stress and calm my thoughts. Why am I only doing this now? A few years ago, I lost my beloved parents and began struggling with anxiety attacks, sadness, and insomnia. I didn’t want to admit to myself that something was eating me up inside, but when I look at my amazing family, the way they make me laugh, and how much love they show me, I think, ‘Girl, get it together.’ So here I am, with plans to show what helps me de-stress, what brings me joy, and what allows me, even for a moment, to forget all my worries.
I am a self-taught learner, relying on books and tutorials available online. The only thing I was taught by someone else is cooking, which I learned from my mother. From a young age, I accompanied her in the kitchen, and I am very grateful for the patience and knowledge she passed on to me.
